There are no words to come even close to describing what a talented, charismatic, genuine, caring, respectful and kind human being you are. Two years and two months ago I was in Boston enjoying a performance by an excellent band, Civil Twilight. The young man standing next to me was equally enjoying the show even having seen them perform several times on this tour. We were having all sorts of conversations about perseverance, the song writing process, the meaning of lyrics, other bands to enjoy, chocolate, and nuts.

However, the band on stage was not the band I'd come to see. I was there almost exclusively in my heart, to see the opening act. The man next to me, the lead singer of that band.

You have my biggest hope for the brightest birthday. You are my lamplight and your lyrics guide me where I go.
